It’s one of life’s most simple pleasures; spending time outdoors, enjoying the nature that surrounds us. Relaxing alone or socialising with friends and family, there are fewer better places to enjoy a little quality time, especially when the weather is warm and the days are long. But, when the weather isn’t so kind, there’s still a way you can enjoy the al fresco life. We are proud to present our range of Architectural Glasshouses, Canopies and Pergolas. A superb addition to your home, these beautiful bespoke structures provide the perfect link between your indoor and outdoor spaces. The ideal place to entertain or take time out from the everyday, an Architectural Glasshouse design affords you more opportunities to enjoy garden living, come rain or shine.

Designed to bring you and your home closer to nature

The Architectural Glasshouse range, designed by Hartley Botanic, aims to reconnect people with nature by softening the barrier between home and garden. The system is comprised of three distinct structures each providing its own special place. These structures can be interchanged in a combination of 1, 2 or 3 elements to create a tailor made solution for any home. At the heart of every design, the glasshouse provides the perfect space for growing plants while also serving as a place to relax. The addition of a pergola for climbing plants gives a place of shade for sunnier days, while a glazed canopy can provide a dry, sheltered, warmer area extending the time you can spend outside year round. The range is inspired by the architecture of ancient Rome and Persia, where the home and its surroundings were intrinsically linked as a series of living spaces. Combining a glasshouse, pergola and canopy creates a trio of environments where you can connect with nature-each an individual oasis, with its own unique micro-climate.

Spaces tailored to you

A . The Glasshouse

The glasshouse offers the perfect, fully sheltered space for growing seasonal vegetables, flowers and house plants. With summer shading and ventilation it can be a great place to relax all year round.

B. The Canopy

With the unpredictable British weather a canopy can greatly extend the amount of time spent enjoying the outdoors, eating or relaxing with the family. Ideally sheltered from the prevailing westerly wind and rain and warmed by the general mass of the house the canopy creates a comfortable mirco-climate.

C. The Pergola

A haven for climbing plants, the pergola can be a great way to shade an over exposed south facing window from the summer sun. As beautiful dappled light penetrates in summer, this shaded area can be a great place to spend time on hot summer days. In the winter months, as the leaves fall from the plants, bright light can flood the room again.

The Architectural Glasshouse Range is available in a range of colours to complement the aspects and character of its surroundings.

The Architectural Glasshouse Range promotes beautiful designs and green spaces linking home to nature. Working together the design teams of both organisations have created an innovative new lifestyle campaign; a campaign which aims to improve people’s lives through increasing their access to nature, irrespective of the place or climate in which they live.
